Last Oasis is already available on Steam. You can purchase it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/903950/Last_Oasis/.
No, Last Oasis is currently available only on Steam. We recommend you do not buy it from any other website as they are not official resellers.
At the moment, our priority is to deliver a great online survival experience on PC. We will look into porting Last Oasis on consoles once we achieved that.
Last Oasis will be localized in the following languages: English, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazilian), French (France), Italian, Russian, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korea, Polish. More languages might be added in the future.
At the moment we are not distributing any new beta keys. However, you can join our Discord to keep yourself updated on possible updates.
We are no longer distributing keys, but will happily take you into consideration for any future rounds of keys we might give out. If that’s something you’re interested in, please fill out the following form here.
Yes. As far as we’re concerned recorded videos of the game belong to you.
Our PR agency Outrageous will be happy to help you once we will start distributing review keys. You can reach them here: press@outrageouspr.com.
There will be character creation and several ways to customize yours.
In Last Oasis, being a nomadic game about traveling, you can build a base and pack it in your Walker. Then you can continue your journey or perform a safe log-off by leaving the oasis you are currently in.
Currently, the maximum number of players per server is 100. The number might change in the future as we are still running tests to determine the ideal number. Our focus is on optimizing server performances rather than promising numbers impossible to reach without compromising the player experience.
You will be able to host dedicated community servers through our partner, Nitrado. Server files may be available to enable hosting private servers at some point during the Early Access phase.
We were inspired by different sources of art and engineering, including Theo Jansen's Strandbeests. We have credited Theo Jansen as an inspiration for our Walkers. We also got in touch with him, and he wishes us success with Last Oasis.
We have temporarily disabled the possibility to delete your character because, unfortunately, it was one of the major reasons for the backend issues we experienced in the past. In the near future, we'll be adding the ability to change your character's name and appearance.
If you’d like to change your starting zone or quickly move to another oasis, you can click Respawn in the menu, open World Map while in respawning screen, and select an oasis you’d like to spawn on. You can use it to get to an oasis your friends are playing on or to get out of some unfortunate situation. Please note that respawning on another oasis means you will lose your inventory and your walkers will be left behind!
If you’re stuck in the main menu with “Signing you in...“, please make sure you’re on the latest Steam version and don’t use workarounds to downgrade to old Steam UI. It forces Steam to use an outdated API that doesn’t let it authenticate you and causes issues with games. You can also try verifying your game files: in your Steam Library > Right click "Last Oasis" > Properties > Local Files tab >Verify integrity of games files
If you were traveling between oases, it might simply have been left parked. This gif shows you how to see your parked walkers: https://imgur.com/a/DgmXGMU If you are part of a clan, be aware that transferring a Walker to a clan can't be undone. If you delete your former clan, all walkers will become unavailable.
